OPTSC team member since 2013

Kirstie is a graduate of the Masters of Science in Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto. She previously attained her BSc in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa in 2011. Throughout her education, Kirstie has gained knowledge about biomechanics, exercise prescription, athletic training and manual therapy, providing her a deeper understanding of orthopaedic injuries and treatment options available to meet the needs of her clients.

Kirstie recently completed a Masters of Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy at the University of Western Ontario in 2017 and her keen interest in orthopaedic physiotherapy lead her to complete manual therapy courses required to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT). Since she completed her MScPT in 2013, Kirstie has also taken post-graduate courses in Acupuncture, Functional Dry Needling and The Shoulder Complex and Concussion Management.

Kirstie has been a part of our Barrhaven team since 2013, and thoroughly enjoys working with clients to create an individualized and evidence-informed treatment approach, combining manual therapy and exercise prescription to reach and maximize quality of life.
