James Anderson

Main Street,Orleans

Registered Physiotherapist

James is a physiotherapist who helps active individuals recover from injury, move efficiently, and return confidently to the sports and activities they enjoy. He completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto after earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University, along with a certificate in Disability Management. He also holds the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation, providing a strong foundation in performance-based rehabilitation.

James has undertaken extensive postgraduate education in orthopaedics and manual therapy. He has completed the Advanced Health Care Practitioner – Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (AHCP-CMP) program at Western University, fulfilling the academic requirements toward his FCAMPT designation. This advanced training has refined his hands-on assessment and treatment skills, enhanced his clinical reasoning, and strengthened his evidence-informed approach to managing complex musculoskeletal conditions.

His continuing education includes advanced manual therapy training, Mulligan Upper Quadrant techniques, Dry Needling Levels 1 and 2 through Acupuncture Canada, and Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certification. This breadth of training allows James to integrate precise manual techniques, detailed movement analysis, and sport-specific rehabilitation strategies to optimize patient outcomes.

James has a keen interest in golf-specific rehabilitation and performance care. As a TPI-certified physiotherapist, he works with golfers of all skill levels, using comprehensive physical screening, biomechanical insight, and individualized treatment programs to address mobility limitations, strength deficits, and movement inefficiencies related to the golf swing. His goal is to reduce injury risk, improve performance, and support a confident return to play.

With a background in strength and conditioning, James takes a highly active, patient-centred approach to rehabilitation. His treatment plans are fully individualized and combine hands-on manual therapy, progressive exercise, movement retraining, and education—helping patients not only recover from injury, but build long-term resilience and confidence in movement. He works with patients across the lifespan, with a particular focus on active adults and athletes.

Outside the clinic, James maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys golf, basketball, football, hiking, and strength training, giving him a firsthand understanding of the physical demands faced by his patients.
